Responding to the needs of our student athletes
We hope that you and those you love are well and safe. Amid the extraordinary challenges posed by the CV19 pandemic and social unrest in our country, these remain exciting times for Fairfield Rugby as we build on tremendous progress in recent years with two nationally ranked teams. If you are fortunate enough to be in a position to support Fairfield University Rugby and our continued building of the program, we’d love to see a few scrum’s worth of support on STAGiving Day, June 4. Your donation will support essential pillars of the program that require ongoing funding including:
- Player retention & recruiting, current scholarship commitments, and greater student-athlete financial need going forward
- Director of Rugby role and 4 team coaches
- Virtual coaching & training in anticipation of a return to campus and training at Walsh Athletic Center
- Service outreach via the City of Bridgeport Rugby Alliance (COBRA), supporting at-risk Bridgeport youth. Our Jesuit tradition makes us men and women for others.
